The aviation company has outsourced its corporate IT support to Interpro Technology in Fareham, which has expanded its team to service the partnership arrangement.
Aquila, based in Whiteley, provides technical solutions and support for air traffic management and air defence.
Established in 2014, it is a joint venture between NATS, the international air traffic control services provider and global systems integrator Thales UK. Aquila has teams based permanently across the UK, in Cyprus and the Falkland Islands.
Aquila has been working with Interpro on an ad hoc basis for the last three years. The outsourcing of its corporate IT support will allow Aquila’s in-house team to focus on major projects and infrastructure development.
Aquila is leading Programme Marshall, a £1.5 billion programme to upgrade and support the UK military’s air traffic management capability at air terminals worldwide over 22 years.
Interpro Technology Solutions Ltd was founded in 2005 and provides fully managed IT support to small and medium businesses in Portsmouth, Fareham, Southampton, surrounding Hampshire areas and further afield.
Based at the Fareham Heights business park, it also specialises in servers, networking, software development, hosted telephone systems and broadband solutions across the UK.
